Advantage through Simplified AEB Test
In the classic AEB test setup, two vehicles fully equipped with robotics are needed. In the simplified approach, the existing online communication between the vehicles is used to generate the new target line for the VUT in real time from the coordinates of the target.
With automatic following, the steering robot in the target vehicle can thus be dispensed with! If, in addition, the vehicle's own cruise control can also be used for speed control, the required robot technology is reduced to just one braking robot!
The VEHICO Simplified AEB Test System convinces with the following advantages:
